Shams Abaya is a Syrian fashion brand dedicated to traditional abayas and kaftans. Rooted in heritage yet contemporary in expression, the brand speaks through abayas that tell stories of culture, identity, and resilience. The project began with creating a brand that would carry warmth, authenticity, and depth, reflecting the values of its founder – a Syrian woman who sees abayas as a voice of heritage and personal presence.

We developed the brand identity of SHAMS Abaya around the symbolic essence of the sun – warmth, honesty, and light that persists despite difficulties. The logo, colors, and graphic elements were designed to connect heritage with modern femininity, while ensuring elegance and timelessness. The identity captures the richness of Syrian and Gulf traditions, combined with contemporary aesthetics.
